Mihara Yasuhiro Corduroy Trucker Jacket

After earning a degree at Tama Art University, Mihara Yasuhiro propelled himself into the world of fashion through his offering of modern and innovative shoe collections starting in 1994. By 1998, he expanded his business into menswear and quickly found a successful long-term collaboration with Puma. Yasuhiro is known for his utilization of boastful fabrics, such as leathers and furs, juxtaposed against his sportful aesthetic. His work exists often in the same vein as other Japanese contemporaries of his time, with collections often inspired by popular rock artists and Tokyo’s youth.
