Jun Takahashi’s cult label, Undercover, has seen enormous success over the years - a child of Takahashi’s intention to “make punk elegant”. In 1994, Takahashi presented his first women’s runway show in Tokyo, which showcased a deformed bomber jacket later purchased by none other than Comme Des Garcons’s, Rei Kawakubo.
